Listen – Day 27

Weaknesses of a Spiritual Seer

“Then Amaziah said to Amos, ‘Get out, you seer! Go back to the land of Judah. Earn your bread there and do your prophesying there” Amos 7:12

  • Seers are not always loved by those to whom they have to give a message. And because of rejection, they stop telling people what God is showing them or what they have dreamt. Their silence in the spirit can cause a ripple effect throughout the lives and churches for who the visions were intended for.

  • They have a hard time relating to those who don’t see what they see or not understanding what they see.

  • Spiritual seers easily grow weary or disillusioned (David & Solomon) when the outcome of what they have seen don’t seem to realise in the physical realm.

  • They have a hard time value normal day-to-day events and activities because they have seen the bigger picture for the future and find it difficult to relate to daily things in light of what is to come.

Prayer: Father I pray and ask that You will show us how to change these weaknesses into strengths so we can accurately and obediently give Your vision to others. Amen. ©
