Day 10 – All that is Respectful, Excellent and Praiseworthy
Again, we are encouraged to focus our thoughts on God with respect and praise for His excellence.
Again, we are encouraged to focus our thoughts on God with respect and praise for His excellence.
This means to focus our thoughts on what is beautiful to God and pleasing to His sight.
To think on justice also means that we should not keep our minds focused on that which is unjust.
When the Bible tells us to think on “just” things, it means to think on things that are fair and righteous; of course, God being our ultimate example.
The way to live an honorable life is by doing good works with humility.
He sacrificed everything for us and the easiest way to think on “all that is honorable” is to focus on King Jesus!
Not everything that is “true” is the truth.
To think on what is “true” is to think about “truth”.
Knowing we are instructed to “think on these things” and “take every thought captive” (2 Corinthians 10:5), we know which things to let in. Entry to all else should be refused.
Not because you want to be known as a house that serves the Lord, but because you do it with hearts seeking to please our King
