Breath – Day 11

Natural breath

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6 (NLT)

The Master Scientist created plants to purify our exhaled breath back to oxygen through photosynthesis. A process by which they use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar. (Yes, that is where the sweetness from a plump red, juicy strawberry comes from). This is the natural recurring order God put in place to ensure we have purified air to breathe for His praise. Natural breath.

What is unnatural is a virus-like Covid-19 attacking the raspatory function. Literally stealing your breath. The enemy knows if he can stop your breath, he can stop you to praise. He knows the power of God’s breath! He saw God breathe the world into existence and blowing His breath in us. And He knows full well what happens when we praise and speak the Word of God. I pray today, that no matter where you are if you have Covid-19 or not – to use your breath to praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

Just like it is natural for plants to photosynthesise, it should become a natural habit for you to praise God.

Prayer: Father, we have been dealing with a virus that is stealing our breath. The breath which rightly and naturally belongs to You. I pray Lord, that for those infected – and for those that need new breath to praise you – that You will fill their lungs with Your divine breath. That the praise belonging to You will resound mightily in Heaven. And that no breath will be stolen anymore by this virus. Amen.
