Day 11 – Giving Excellence back to God

As we look at what it means to think on all that is Respectful, Excellent and Praiseworthy, I do think that this goes further as to our reciprocation.  

As God has given and served us with only His very best, who are we to withhold our best from God? If we truly understand God’s grace, we will respond in giving excellent service and grace to God and to others.

Titus 3:8: “The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.”

We are to think on all things respectful, excellent, and praiseworthy by focusing on these qualities in our Father God, cultivating them in ourselves and celebrating them in others.

Prayer: Father, will You help me to cultivate the quality of excellence in my life so that I may think, speak, and act in line with all that is respectful and praiseworthy. Make me sensitive to excellence in myself and others so that I will strive only to give and do my best. Amen
