Think on these things

God gives us all we need for life and Godliness – He is a good, good God! 

Charity is not just money – charity is kindness, selflessness, self-sacrifice, and generosity.

Something that is “pure” is undefiled and uncorrupted. Our “old man” was defiled and corrupted, but we have been redeemed, reborn and given a “new man” – we are a completely new creation.

…just to rise and be zapped with the incredible awe of our “Holy, Holy, Holy” God that they cry so day and night.

We are to think on all things respectful, excellent, and praiseworthy by focusing on these qualities in our Father God, cultivating them in ourselves and celebrating them in others.

Again, we are encouraged to focus our thoughts on God with respect and praise for His excellence.

This means to focus our thoughts on what is beautiful to God and pleasing to His sight.

To think on justice also means that we should not keep our minds focused on that which is unjust.

When the Bible tells us to think on “just” things, it means to think on things that are fair and righteous; of course, God being our ultimate example. 

The way to live an honorable life is by doing good works with humility.
