Day 15 – Embrace the Truth 

“Embrace the truth and hold it close,  don’t let go of wisdom, instruction and life-giving understanding. When a father observes his child living in godliness, he is ecstatic with joy – nothing makes him prouder.” Proverbs 23:23-24 TPT

The “focus the thoughts” checklist from Paul in Philippians 4:8 is no doubt wise instruction that points us to the path of integrity. 

I’m grateful for the deeper look into this list since it enables life giving understanding for practical inclusion into daily life. 

God gives us all we need for life and Godliness – He is a good, good God! 

Proverbs 4:11 says “I have taken you by the hand in wisdom’s ways, pointing you to the path of integrity” and in vs 12 is a promise… “Your progress will have no limits when you come along with me, and you will never stumble as you walk along the way.” (TPT)

Prayer: Abba, thank You for the gift of wisdom to guide us in Philippians 4:8.  Only by Your spirit I will be able to keep my thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honourable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. Through You I can do all things and I trust You! In Jesus Name. Amen
