Day 14 – Words Attract: Speaking Spirit Words

“But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.” Psalm 75:9

If we do not understand the spirit realm, we will never be efficient with our words. Your words impact your future and is the difference between a positive and a negative outcome. Your words are the weapon against the enemy you face. But what does it mean to speak impactful, spirit words?

Let’s walk on the dusty road with Israel for a while. God gave them a promise of land, and the time for them to enter this promise is as ripe as the milk and honey described. For six days the soldiers walked the path around the big city walls of Jericho once, following the Covenant of the Arc carried by the priests. (Note here that they followed God, walking in the footsteps He set out for them!) They said nothing as they circled the city daily, just following God. Until the appointed time, the seventh day! They raised their voices like thunder and shouted, and the mighty walls of Jericho fell. The words they used is not recorded, but I believed it was words glorifying God in all His majesty, declaring His power! It doesn’t matter what you say, as long as your words are a dialect of Heavens language.

When you open your mouth to challenge the majestic walls, wait. Walk in the footsteps of God and when the time is right for your words, lace them with worship and praise. Aim you Word filled words at the walls.

Prayer: Father, allow my voice to glorify You with every wall I face. Show me Your footsteps to follow and teach me to train my lips to speak spirit filled words. Amen.
