Day 6 – It’s never over until Jesus says it’s over

“When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed.” Matthew 27:59-60 NKJV
It was quiet, it was somber. The body of Jesus had been buried quickly and a big stone was rolled in front of the entrance. Those close to Jesus have terrible memories of the events that their eyes had witnessed.
Now they started to understand what many of Jesus’ teachings meant, what Jesus had warned them about, and what was to come. But they still did not grasp or understand, “I will rise again”, “I will come back”, for it had not happened yet.
They were sad. But as the Word of God says, sorrow may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning!
The enemy might tell you it’s over, it’s done for you. But remember he is a liar. It’s never over until Jesus says it’s over. It’s never done till Jesus says it’s done.
Death wanted to keep Jesus, But it had lost its grip on Jesus. Jesus has been given the authority, and death has no option but to obey.
Your Jesus is not dead. Your God almighty is not dead, but He is alive.
Prayer: Thank you, Father God, for your perfect plan. For your perfect breakthrough, for your perfect works and timing. Help us not to give up, but to wait upon you with hope, in Jesus’ Name Amen.
