Day 6 – Standing, not running
Paul does not say, Or even ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐.. He says, ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐. Standing requires stability. Stability requires armour. But endurance requires trust. The soldier who stands does not need to keep checking his back if he trusts the formation behind him. In the body of Christ, we stand together – and above all, we stand with God Himself covering our vulnerability. This means you can face conflict without paranoia. You can move forward without obsession over what might happen behind you. You can obey without rehearsing every worst-case scenario. God has positioned Himself where you are weakest so you can stand firm in the faith and believe that He will cover your back. He will protect you, even in the cases and places where you did not know you needed His protection. Where you did not even see the threat. Keep your eyes firmly on Him, and He will protect you and cover your back.
Prayer: Thank You, God, for protecting me from the things I do not even see coming. Please help me to keep my eyes firmly on You, because then I know You will see the attacks I donโt see, and You will protect me from them and cover me. Amen.
