Day 8 – OVERCOME

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Happy new year! 

2023 has passed and now you are stepping into 2024.

If there is something that I pray you remember every single day of 2024, is that you remember the words overcome. 

Remember that with the Lord’s help, you overcame a lot in the past. And He will continue to be faithful and help you overcome whatever lies ahead. Don’t be afraid of tomorrow, because tomorrow has its worries. 

God promises to you that as He is Lord of today, He is also the Lord of tomorrow and every single day thereafter. He sent His son Jesus, who did the saving for us. He overcame everything for us. 

Now, let us live as overcomers with Jesus. Let’s examine the areas in which we have not surrendered to God in our lives. Let’s start this new year by surrendering everything into the Lord’s hands and changing our mindset about our lives, our circumstances, and our choices. 

Be overcomers, because Jesus has overcome the world. 

Prayer: We praise you, Jesus! Because you have overcome the world for us. We choose to live as overcomers too, because you are our God. In you there is victory. In Jesus mighty Name, Amen.
