Strengths of Spiritual Feelers

“And He said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” Exodus 33:14

A spiritual feeler might not always understand why their emotions seem to be out of tune, especially when they are around other people. Rest assured, it’s not your emotions putting your spiritual senses in hyper gear. Highlighting some strengths might help you to determine if you are a spiritual feeler.

• Spiritual feelers are in touch with God’s emotions. They understand His heart and see His love for people when the world tends to look the other way. They are usually always ready with encouraging scripture.

• They can pick up on spiritual moments most people miss, perceiving situations differently from others. In difficult or dangerous situations, they can diffuse it because of their emotional sensitivity.

• Spiritual feelers have a strong sense of empathy and can easily pick up on emotions. Have you ever experienced an emotion that does not belong to you? Have you ever felt what someone was feeling before they explained it to you? It takes some time and prayer dedication to understand this gift to know who God is pointing out to you.

• They experience powerful encounters with the Word of God – they experience emotions while reading scripture.

The strengths of a spiritual feeler are people and their emotions and God’s emotions towards peoples. They are a bridge for those who find it difficult to find God emotionally.

Prayer: Father, this is such a beautiful spiritual gift. To know your emotions and bring Your heart to the foreground in situations for people to be reached through your love. To understand a person’s emotions before they can explain it to you. I pray that You will guide them to understand this gift and to interpret Your emotions to people. Amen. ©
