Iโve noticed people praying (or asking for prayer) but not believing that God will honour their prayer or even hear it. Letโs take a trip down memory lane for a bit: when you called your mom or dad, what was their response? Especially when it was a call of need. They came running, right? God does the same. You are His child. When you call, He shows up because His ear is inclined to you. He ๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ด your voice, but you need to get to know His voice, too.
Our thoughts can be the most thunderous storm, drowning out even our voice, let alone Godโs. But even in these situations, we can be assured that God will show up. Didnโt Jesus walk on the water amid a storm towards His disciples? Yes, when you call on God, expect Him to show up. As we learn to develop a lifestyle of listening, you will soon realise you hear God even in the storms of life.
Pray with me: Father, thank You that I can know that, no matter what the situation is, I can call upon You as long as I live because Your ear is inclined to me. Thank You that I can be assured that when I call upon You, You will show up. I love You, Father. Amen. ยฉ
