Where shadows fall, and noise rises, it can feel impossible to hear God truly. You hear Him; He is near. You were created for a relationship with the Father. Created for community, for your heart to long for connection with your Creator. You were designed to be known, understood, and loved. And God loves you perfectly and completely. There is no other voice worth chasing when you call on Him.
Just as no two human relationships are identical, no two relationships with God are the same. Yours is unique. So is the way you hear Him, listen to Him, know Him, and love Him. The more you lean into Him, the more familiar His voice becomes, and the easier it is to listen to His heart. But many struggle, and one of the most frequent questions I am asked is, โHow do I hear God?โ Truth is, there are many ways to hear God. Some hear His voice audibly, others feel it, and some listen by observing signs and wonders. It is not just a question of ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ ๐๐ฐ๐ฅ, but a matter of finding your unique listening gift and developing it into a listening lifestyle.
Pray with me: Father, thank You for drawing us into a relationship with You, where we can know Your heart, hear Your Word, and listen to Your voice. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, who opened the way for us to commune with You. Pull me closer, Lord. Amen. ยฉ
