Day 26 – Words of Faith

“So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.” Matthew 21:21

We have learned how words can attack and attract. About the power of our words on earth in the realm where we reside and in the spirit world. But what is the use of all this if we do not have faith in our words? I’ve seen people pray and immediately after that doubting what they asked God to do. It’s strange how we can pray earnest prayers and then break it down brick by brick with our own doubtful words.

Have faith in what you pray and speak. Have faith that if you say that mountain to throw itself in the sea, that it will be so. Take responsibility for your words and bind them with the truth of God’s word so they become faithful words. Words you can have faith in and stand by. Your word should be your word, just as God’s Word is Word until eternity.

Prayer: Father, it’s at times difficult to have faith in the words I speak especially when things in my life do not go according to script. I believe my words carry power and authority and I have faith that when I speak Your Word, it will be so. Amen.
