Breath – Day 4
The bones were not together! Strewn over the valley floor exposed to the elements just like the puzzle pieces

God breathed the breath of life into his nostrils and in obedience to God’s will, the matter became the framework of spirit, and man became a living soul
Little did I realise, my spiritual life – my precious time with God – was stuck in this valley and my bones dried out. Spiritual dry bones do not drink Living Water. It cannot be sustained on Daily Bread and it sure does not breathe.
I believe there might be a lot of us living in a spiritual oxygen-deprived atmosphere, not realising the importance of God’s breath in our lives.
God has never changed. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! This means: His commandments have not changed either. Why do we act as it did?
Even amongst the stone-cold, lifeless eyes of these idols, God gave him hope – an opportunity to share the Gospel…
Jesus saw the one thing redirecting the rich young man worship from God. It was not his physical riches, but his faithfulness in stewarding it for the Kingdom of God.
Jesus came to show that TRUE healing – physical and spiritual – is through Him.
I believe this is the biggest guard we can guard our hearts against because in our twisted sexual aware culture it’s easy to look for satisfaction to fill the emptiness inside you.
But, slithering in on its belly through the beauty of God’s creation, sin became a reality.
