Day 6 – She delights in work

“She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands.” Proverbs 31:13 NKJV
It truly takes a lot of hard work and supernatural wisdom to run a successful household! But the pressure of keeping it up in this fast-paced world can sometimes become overwhelming. Not to even mention the pressure of society, advertised through social media, on the demands and balance of hard work and family life. And sometimes, in the midst of doing everything right, we lose ourselves.
On a recent mission to Malawi, I rediscovered the true meaning of inner strength. The true meaning behind the powerful word of Philippians 4:13. And I want to encourage every beautiful woman, who feels drained, overwhelmed, and overworked, to turn her eyes towards Jesus and to look full in His wonderful face. Allow the words of Philippians 4:13 to wash over you and refresh you today. Your family needs you, and your husband relies on you. You are a precious part of your family, and even if they don’t say it, they love & appreciate you more than words can say.
“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]” Philippians 4:13 AMP
Prayer: Holy Spirit, please fill me with Your divine wisdom to be able to run my household according to Your standards. Give me the patience, to love my family in a Godly way. And strengthen my physical body, to be able to keep up all the tasks at hand. Amen.
