Dear Thoughts… Day 12
Anxious thoughts are like oil floating on water. It does not mix – it only contaminates.
Anxious thoughts are like oil floating on water. It does not mix – it only contaminates.
When the actual thought should be, “Why am I doubting God?”
Who am I to say that this world is bad or that I did not have a good day?
The word ‘portion’ in our key verse is ‘Chêleq’ in Hebrew – meaning part of a whole. Some translations refer to it as ‘inheritance’. So, what does this have to do with ‘nothing good happens to me” my mind wonders? Everything!
I’m not talking about knowing He loves us. I’m talking about LIVING as if we really believe it.
This thought strips your purpose and soon enough you do not see purpose in anything you do. Not even in who you are.
We allow our thoughts to run rampant because we are unsure how to deal with them.
When He said “Tetelestai” He meant it. It is finished. Over. Done. And He sealed His words with His last breath – tearing the curtain for us to step through.
To me, this was a preparation for what was to follow. That when the Holy Spirit descends on them, they would recognise it.
can observe the miraculous phenomena, but we cannot trace the principle of life.
