Day 4 – Godly wisdom will be evident

1 Kings 4:29 “And God gave Solomon exceptionally much wisdom and understanding, and breadth of mind like the sand of the seashore.”

Since we are focusing a little on the life of King Solomon, let’ see how this wisdom impacted not only his life, but people and nations in the surrounding area. He reigned over all the kingdoms, stretching from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt. There was peace all around him and kings from all over brought tribute to him and served him. He cared for his own people, making sure that they lacked nothing, and they dwelt safely and rejoiced under his reign.

In his God-given wisdom, Solomon was wiser than all other men and his fame reached far and wide. People and kings from all nations and countries flocked to hear Solomon speak words of wisdom. He wrote 3000 proverbs and 1005 songs.

When one has God’s wisdom to guide you in everyday decisions, it will be evident to all. Don’t be surprised if people start coming to you for advice; God’s anointing will draw them and equip you.

And all of Israel … stood in awe of him, because they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do justice.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, what a joy to know that I may have access to Your wisdom, too. I need You to guide me through this day, and the next week and month. Thank you, Holy Spirit that You are my Helper and Guide, that You speak to me. Amen.
