A heart that is inward twisted and deformed by covetous desires, stands guilty before the righteous Judge of the world. If we are thankful and content with what we have, we will forget about what we do not have.
The Lord gave two commandments concerning this to the Israelites. One protects God’s name and another our neighbor’s.
Note the fact that this command is inclusive of all other commands.
I believe that many individuals in our society misunderstand the essence of marriage, treating it as if it were a disposable item such as a cell phone.
Always remember God values every person’s life as irreplaceable and precious. And so should we.
This commandment teaches us the basic principle of authority.
God desired for them to rest and spend time getting to know Him through worship and praise.
God has many names, and we need to be mindful of which name we are referring to.
Anything you worship more than God is a “graven image”.
