Jesus came to show that TRUE healing – physical and spiritual – is through Him.
I believe this is the biggest guard we can guard our hearts against because in our twisted sexual aware culture it’s easy to look for satisfaction to fill the emptiness inside you.
But, slithering in on its belly through the beauty of God’s creation, sin became a reality.
The more important the object of sacrifice, the more devout the person giving it up is.
I do not need power. My God has all the power I would ever need. Therefore I will worship Him for His mighty power.
Our provision comes from the hand of God, not idols and not ourselves.
It is our Father in Heaven’s privilege to bless His children how and when He deems appropriate. He does so not because we have been “good”. But because of His unfailing love for us.
Humble pie is not the easiest slice to have on your plate at times. Our humility towards God circumcises our hearts from pride (and entitlement), always allowing us to put God first.
Let us be honest, we ladies like comfort, prosperity, and wealth. The question is: to what extremes will you go to ensure it?
